Fly Fight Win!

Posted by Hannah Hurley on

If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook you saw our recent trip to Colorado. You may have recognized the background of yesterday's quote as well.

We mixed a bit of work with vacation and not only took in some USAF related sights, but also laid groundwork for 2MyHero cards to come to gifts shops in several cities and military museums in Colorado and Utah. More on that in a later blog.

This week we will be highlighting three of the cards in the USAF Collection

2MyHero USAF military encouragement greeting card

Today, we start with one of our and our customers favorites - Fly Fight Win. It was designed using a popular phrase in the Air Force community and one that gives the sender a positive tone for correspondence. It opens up the possibilities for you to encourage the Airman in your life. The card is blank inside which makes it flexible for a variety of occasions. It could easily serve as a message of congratulations at promotion time, upon deployment, upon return from deployment . . .

Most of our cards have a dedication to someone we know in that branch of service on the back of the card. Fly Fight Win is dedicated to Major Walz. We met her initially a little over six years, and although we don't have the privilege of seeing her often, every encounter has been memorable in a positive way. We most recently were honored to be invited to her promotion ceremony. Here's a link to our post on Instagram about it.

Back to our Colorado trip, we made a visit to the Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs. What an impressive campus! Immaculate, interesting, easy to navigate. You may have recognized the background for the quote we posted yesterday. It was taken at the chapel. What a stunning structure! If you didn't see the post, here it is:

The building that houses the gift shop also has a small theatre that runs informative movies about what the cadets go through. There are other visuals that guide you through the general events throughout a cadets time at there. There is also a large map of the US with pins in the hometown cities of current students at the Academy. We were pleased to see several pins representing cadets from our hometown - Portland, OR. If you have a chance to visit the campus, we highly recommend it!

Fly Fight Win is a card that can be given either to an enlisted Airman, or an officer that has gone through the Academy. That's not an easy feat for a greeting card. These two paths vary greatly in terms of vocabulary, experiences and perspective on serving the the Air Force. But Fly Fight Win is a card that fits comfortably in either realm.

2MyHero sells Fly Fight Win individually as well as in six packs (a mix of six cards including white square flap envelopes). Fly Fight Win can be found in the USAF Collection in both of these options.

If you know a young man or woman heading off to boot camp at Lacklund Air Force Base, you'll want to purchase one of the six packs so you can encourage them at every stage - during bootcamp, at graduation, there's one for their MTI and depending on how often you write them at boot camp, you may have one or two left over to send after graduation on their first assignment or next level of training.

Maybe you know an Airman who is way beyond boot camp in terms of their military career. You are sure to find a card within the collection that is relevant at any phase of an Airman's career. 2MyHero is happy to help you cheer Airmen on with unique and well researched military greeting cards.

Let us know about your experience giving Fly Fight Win or any other 2MyHero greeting card to your Air Force loved one. Comment below, leave a rating if you purchase through Amazon or Contact us and tell us how the card made you or them feel. We'd love to hear from you!
